AAPSA is an agency that specializes in providing state-of-the-science assessment, treatment, educational and advocacy services in Central New York to children, adolescents and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, with our ABA Program providing intensive treatment to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Join our positive and fulfilling work environment, and become a member of a team that affects real change and maximizes the individual potential of those we serve!\nOverview:\nThe ABA Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating schedules for assessments, therapy sessions, and staff coverage across multiple locations. This role requires effective communication with parents, staff, and outside providers, ensuring that all scheduling needs are met promptly and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities:\nClient Scheduling: Manage client schedules when new clients are onboarded, including determining staff coverage needs and communicating start dates to parents.\nWeekly Coverage: Coordinate weekly coverage for Utica, Syracuse, and Norwich, ensuring that all clients receive the necessary services.\nStaff Availability and Time Off Requests: Monitor and update staff availability, time off requests, and ensure coverage for callouts.\nClient Cancellations: Manage client cancellations, update CR with appropriate reasons, and ensure all relevant parties are notified.\nOnboarding Schedule for New Staff: Create and manage training templates, schedule shadowing hours, and coordinate onboarding meetings with supervisors and BTs.\nAssessment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule assessments upon authorization receipt, ensuring proper communication with parents and staff.
