Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This hospital-based practice is dedicated to providing top-tier urological care. The need arises from a provider vacancy, ensuring that your contributions are both needed and appreciated. The practice is entirely inpatient, with no neonatal or pediatric responsibilities, allowing you to focus exclusively on adult and geriatric patient populations. Required procedures include general urology and ureteroscopy, presenting a professionally stimulating environment. Schedule and Assignment Details This locum tenens opportunity offers a flexible schedule with shifts spanning 24 hours, typically structured as 3x12-hour blocks. The role requires coverage during weekdays and weekends, with callback responsibilities from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. Open dates for coverage include October 30th to November 2nd and November 13th to November 16th. Physicians must be ready to provide coverage at both designated facilities within the healthcare system. Support and Work Environment Enjoy working in a well-supported environment with access to robust resources and collaboration with a team of five other Urologists. The facility is designated as a Level 3 trauma center, ensuring a wide range of cases that enhance professional growth and development. You will have access to comprehensive onsite lab and X-ray services, contributing to efficient and effective patient care. QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.Active South Carolina medical license or willingness to obtain one.Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.DEA certification is required.A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation is necessary.Willingness to cover both sites within the healthcare system is essential.
