leadership role for someone who thrives in a lean environment and is comfortable being close to the details—owning close, revenue recognition, audits, and internal controls—while partnering closely with executive leadership to support growth.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience in enterprise technology revenue models, and the discipline required to scale accurate, audit-ready financial operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounting & Financial Operations\nOwn all core accounting functions, including:\nGeneral ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management\nMonthly, quarterly, and annual close processes\nPreparation of timely, accurate financial statements\nEnsure accounting accuracy and consistency across all entities and revenue streams\nMaintain detailed supporting schedules and documentation\nRevenue Recognition & Deal Support\nOwn revenue recognition under GAAP and ASC 606 across:\nHardware products\nSoftware licenses and subscriptions\nCloud, managed, and professional services\nPartner with Sales, Legal, and Operations to:\nReview contracts for proper accounting treatment\nSupport multi-element and multi-year deal structures\nEnsure accurate billing and revenue timing\nControls, Compliance & Audit\nDesign, implement, and maintain strong internal controls\nPrepare for and manage external audits and financial reviews\nCoordinate tax filings and compliance with external advisors\nEnsure audit-ready processes for a business serving regulated enterprise customers\nFinancial Systems & Process Improvement\nOwn and optimize accounting systems (ERP, billing, reporting tools)\nDrive process improvements and automation to support scale\nDevelop accounting policies and procedures as the business grows\nTeam Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership\nManage and mentor accounting staff as the team grows\nAct as a key partner to the CFO/Head of Finance and executive team\nProvide accurate financial data to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making\nRequirements\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\n8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including:\nController, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership roles\nStrong background in:\nEnterprise technology, infrastructure, security, or cloud companies\nHardware, SaaS, and services-based revenue models\nDeep working knowledge of:\nGAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition\nComplex customer contracts and billing structures\nProven ability to operate hands-on in lean
