You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory. Our Zone utilizes a Warehouse Management System so technology is required to perform this job. As an employee-owned company, our employees are key to our success and are given opportunities to learn and grow into higher level positions.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\nOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts\nReceive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process\nSelect, pack and palletize shipments\nSort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts\nMaintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n\nNo fear of heights\nPerform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures, depending on the location; must pass pre-employment physical testing\nMinimum age of 18 required\nGood attendance and work ethic\n2+ years experience preferred\nPrior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred\n\nShift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 10:00pm\n\nCompensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is $18.19 per hour\n\nWhy should you join Graybar?\n\nAt Graybar, our employees are the heart and soul of our company.
