As one of the most diverse and flexible beverage manufacturers in the country, we produce everything from teas and energy drinks to malt-based beverages.\nOur Opportunity: Machine Operator\nStatus: Full Time Night Shift]\nHours: 12-hour shift - 6p-6a\nSchedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)\nCompensation: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour depending on experience\n[Plus, a $2.00 night shift differential, if applicable]\nSummary\nThis position is responsible for assembling kits for the production plant. Pre-weigh ingredients, track inventory, and follow detailed instructions.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nEnsure that the new production line initiatives meet organizational objectives, this will include changes to technology and systems, changes to business processes and changes in organizational structure and job roles.\nStrive to achieve quick adoption of change and ensure efficient understanding and training in order to achieve organizational proficiency to handle new initiatives and projects.\nPerforms label inspection, to ensure the quality of labels. Ensures that the label is correct and straight on each bottle. Inspect for missing labels and caps, short fills, upside down labels, etc.\nEnsures codes and product are meeting quality standards per company/customer.\nPerforms any cutting and supply of cans via machine infeed.\nOperates Production equipment safely.\nAttends training on new processes and equipment. This may include self-study.\nEnsures codes and product are meeting quality standards per company/customer.\nSupplies boxes or trays to equipment and verifies that the correct packaging is being used.\nPerforms hand stacking and repacking of product as needed.\nAssists in housekeeping and running compactor for crushing boxes as required.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer.\nAdhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.\nAdhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.\nWhat You Need to Bring\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAbility to read and interpret in English.\nHave a strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with SAP or other inventory management systems\nExperience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations\n1-3 years’ experience in a high-speed Production environment\n\nJob Setting\nThis role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEmployees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.\nDue to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.\nThe work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.\nAlcohol is an ingredient in products we produce.
