This role ensures food and beverage quality while delivering excellent guest service to create a positive dining experience.\n\nEssential Functions and Duties:\n\nMaintains high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.\n\nGreets guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.\n\nTakes drink orders and presents the menu to guests, answering questions and providing suggestions.\n\nRecommends wine selections when appropriate.\n\nRelays orders to the kitchen and beverage services accurately.\n\nObserves guests to anticipate additional needs and provides timely service.\n\nClears and resets tables after guest departure.\n\nCompletes assigned side work and ensures all work and storage areas are clean.\n\nUnderstands and follows Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for safety compliance.\n\nAssists with the setup, cleaning, and refreshing of function rooms when needed.\n\nAttends department meetings to stay informed of service standards and expectations.\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\n\nRequired Experience, Education, and Skills:\n\nPrior experience as a server preferred.\n\nAbility to use arithmetic for totaling costs and making change.\n\nStrong communication skills to provide information and deliver service to guests.\n\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\n\nAbility to lift and carry heavy objects, such as trays.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nPrimarily works indoors, with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.\n\nFrequently stands and walks for long periods.\n\nRegularly lifts and carries objects up to 20 lbs., and frequently handles objects weighing up to 10 lbs.\n\nRequires reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and seeing as part of daily responsibilities.\n\nFlexibility to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n\nOther Duties:\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
