In this role, you will be responsible for the installation. Your expertise will ensure the reliable delivery of high-speed fiber optic connectivity, supporting essential communication services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, heavy equipment, and industry-leading safety standards to build and maintain robust fiber networks.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Operate fiber pulling machine and other specialized machinery safely and efficiently during fiber optic cable installation and maintenance projects.\n* Pull, splice, and test fiber optic cables in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.\n* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams to accurately execute cabling and splicing tasks.\n* Use diagnostic tools and telecommunications testing equipment to troubleshoot network issues and verify system performance.\n* Install telecommunications cables in outdoor environments, adhering to safety protocols outlined by the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)\n* Support telecommunications by performing cable routing, trenching, and conduit work when required.\n* Conduct telecommunications testing to ensure network integrity, fiber splicing quality, and proper system functionality.\n* Maintain detailed records of all installation activities, test results, and troubleshooting procedures for project documentation.\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Strong knowledge of fiber optic systems installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.\n* Familiarity with telecommunications cabling standards including low voltage wiring, electrical safety practices, and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).\n* Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides related to fiber optic networks.\n* Hands-on experience fiber tools used for network verification.\n* Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and precision.\n* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cable pulling equipment, and other necessary hardware for installation tasks.\n* Strong problem-solving skills.\n\nJoin us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering reliable communication infrastructure!
