At DSI, we’re all invested in doing the job right.\n\nThe Controller will oversee the company’s accounting operations while playing a strategic role in financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, and performance management. This leader will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and provide executive leadership with actionable insights to drive growth and profitability.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger management.\nPrepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.\nManage internal controls to safeguard company assets.\nLead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.\nCoordinate and manage audits with external auditors.\nSupport tax preparation and filing activities.\nProvide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.\nImplement and optimize accounting systems and procedures.\nDevelop, maintain, and present detailed financial models to evaluate business performance, support strategic initiatives, and assess potential investments\nConduct in-depth financial analysis on revenue trends, cost structures, cash flow, and profitability drivers.\nDrive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommendations.\nPartner with department leaders to evaluate business initiatives, capital investments, and cost optimization opportunities using data-driven insights.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CFA or CMA preferred but not required).\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience; at least 2 years in a leadership role.\nExperience processing payroll (Paylocity preferred).\nComplex Payroll Issue resolution.\nPoint person for HR issues and questions (full time HR Generalist reports to this position)\nProven track record in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including building and maintaining complex financial models.\nStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.\nExperience with accounting/ERP systems software.\nExperience in Sage Intacct preferred but not required.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and leadership abilities.\nAbility to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.\nSchedule:\nMonday through Friday (40 hours a week)\nGuided by our core values—integrity, safety, accountability, faith, and innovation—we take pride in delivering dependable work for customers who expect the highest standards.
