Director of FinanceBillion‑Dollar Subsidiary | Global, Multi‑Billion‑Dollar Manufacturer Hybrid | Executive Track to CFO | Bonus + Equity PotentialOur client in Edison, New Jersey is seeking a Director of Finance to lead all finance‑related functions for a billion‑dollar subsidiary of a multi‑billion‑dollar international manufacturing organization. This is a high‑impact, visible leadership role.The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical and capital markets background, with experience partnering closely with bankers, investors, and senior executives. Experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate banking, or transaction advisory is highly desirable. Any experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal but not required. This role is also open to the promotion of a high‑performing incumbent who is ready to step into broader leadership and enterprise‑level responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership over all finance functions, including FP&A, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, ROI analysis, and financial modelingServe as a key advisor to executive leadership on capital structure, capital allocation, investment decisions, and long‑range financial strategyLead KPI and ROI frameworks across the organization to drive performance, accountability, and value creationOversee financial analysis supporting organic growth initiatives, capital projects, M&A activity, and pricing decisionsManage extensive interaction with banks, lenders, investors, and external financial partnersSupport financing activities, refinancing efforts, covenant compliance, and capital markets initiativesEnsure strong internal controls, financial governance, and compliance across the subsidiaryBuild, mentor, and develop a high‑caliber finance team prepared to scale with the businessCollaborate closely with corporate finance and international leadership teamsIdeal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilityInvestment banking, capital markets, corporate development, or transaction‑focused experience is highly valuedStrong background in financial analysis, KPI design, ROI evaluation, and executive‑level modelingDemonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence strategic decisionsProven experience working directly with bankers, investors, lenders, and external stakeholdersExperience within complex, scaled organizations—manufacturing, industrial, or global operations preferredExecutive presence with the ambition and capability to grow into a CFO roleCompensation & OpportunityHighly competitive base salaryExcellent annual bonus tied to performancePotential equity participationHybrid work environmentThis role offers the rare combination of scale, strategic influence, and career acceleration within a stable, globally established organization.
