To process copy requests submitted by FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) staff utilizing publishing and printing equipment/duplicating machines; operate binding equipment/machines; perform clerical duties associated with the requests for printing and photographic services; monitor status of Duplication Center equipment; maintain inventory of supplies and performing duties to support the copy center help desk.\nPrimary Duties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.\nProcess and duplicate as required FERC copy requirements such as Commission Issuances, EIS, EA and confidential, color documents and vacancy announcements in accordance with suspense date.\nSet up and operate publication and printing equipment such as high-speed copier machines (including color equipment) paper cuffing, binding, hole punch, stitching, labeling, tabbing and folding machines.\nLog commission issuances out of the work flow in Remedy and send completed copies to the mail center for mailing. Enter other completed jobs into the production log.\nAssist with Copy Center Helpdesk by answering phones, processing ticket requests into the Remedy ticketing system, processing walk up requests as needed.\nPerform clerical duties associated with the request for printing and copying services.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nOperate small binding machines.\nMaintain an inventory of supplies and reproduction equipment and paying attention to important variables indicated by trade name of machine.\nPrepare assembly sheets, print requisitions with specifications for printing and binding, recording, delivering and collecting work.\nPerform other responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)\nHigh School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) required.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nKnowledge of the operating and maintenance procedures and functional characteristics of Copy Center machinery, including copiers.\nAbility to interpret from technical written/verbal instructions and to understand the scope of the work required.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nBasic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.
