Mechanic

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mechanic based out of our Farmingdale, NJ site to support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by OSHA safety standards in our East Region. This role is responsible for possessing a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of heavy equipment.Day to DayPerform skilled mechanical work, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety inspections on all and heavy equipment.Perform work on all diesel engines.Provide field service on heavy equipment.Repair parts on heavy equipment.Diagnose and repair computer, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures.Repair chassis, air conditioning, cooling, brakes, and exhaust systems on new vehicles.Refuel equipment at job sites and generators when needed.Document work completed and prepares reports.Perform other job duties as assignedAbout YouPrompt, regular, and predictable attendancePositive, Team-based attitude3-4 years of experienceThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
