This role is primarily responsible for operating semi-trucks and large trailers to haul multiple pieces of equipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to support project execution. The position may also assist with loading/unloading, equipment coordination, and general logistics support as needed.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nOperate Class A CDL vehicles including semi-trucks and large trailers to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites, vendors, and staging areas\nHaul multiple pieces of equipment (e.g., skid steers, lifts, trailers, solar racking/materials, wireless components) safely and efficiently\nSecure loads in compliance with DOT and company safety standards\nPlan routes and coordinate deliveries to align with project schedules and field needs\nEnsure all delivery documentation (bill of lading, pick lists, etc.) is accurate and completed properly\nVerify transported goods match bills of materials and report discrepancies\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs per DOT requirements\nIdentify and report any equipment or material damage\nSupport field teams with loading and unloading of materials and equipment\nAssist with staging, organizing, and tracking materials as needed\nMaintain clean and safe vehicles, trailers, and equipment\nFollow all safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture\nAssist warehouse or yard operations as needed\nOther duties as assigned\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nAll employees must demonstrate the ability to promote and embody the Premise Core Values: Be Ready to Learn, Own the Result, Build Trust and Drive to Complete.\nIn addition to the above, other required qualifications for this role are:\nValid Class A CDL (Required) with air brake endorsement\nDemonstrated ability to operate semi-trucks and haul large trailers with multiple pieces of equipment\nClean driving record and ability to maintain DOT compliance\nCurrent DOT Medical Card\nWorking knowledge of DOT and MNDOT regulations\nExperience securing heavy equipment and materials for transport\nAbility to safely load/unload equipment and materials\nStrong communication skills with field teams, vendors, and internal staff\nThis position requires up to 80% travel to project sites based on business needs. Travel is primarily Monday through Friday, with employees typically returning home on weekends.\nCertifications: OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens (or willingness to obtain)\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ARE:\nExperience supporting solar, construction, or wireless/tower operations\nEquipment operation experience (e.g., skid steer, telehandler, lifts)\nForklift certification\n1+ years of CDL driving experience in construction or similar environment\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\nOTHER REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:\nSafety Awareness - Consistently adheres to Premise Safety requirements, including PPE, lock out/tag out and incident reporting. The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.\n\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nWhile performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will work both inside in a normal indoor office environment and outside at remote job sites. The employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold and wet or humid. The employee may work in high places, and/or work around moving mechanical parts, vehicles and other equipment. The employee may also work in areas where the noise volume is loud and constant.
