Associates degree or higher preferred.\n· Leadership: Experience in leading, motivating, and guiding a team, writing performance reviews, fostering a positive work environment and driving performance.\n· Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for clear instruction delivery, effective feedback, and collaboration with team members, supervisors, and other departments.\n· Industrial manufacturing: Experience with fabrication, electrical and mechanical assembly, including ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.\n· Inventory management: Experience with bills of material and inventory location management.\n· Teamwork: Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.\n· Lean manufacturing: Experience and understanding of lean techniques such as 5S compliance, flow and pull concepts.\nWhat we would like you to have:\n· English and Spanish speaking\n· Process mapping experience.\n· ISO 9001:2015 experience.\n· Experience creating work instructions.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nThis includes but is not limited to:\n· Production Oversight: Monitoring assembly processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets, and resolving production problems.\n· Team Management: Leading, motivating, and coaching production staff, including training new employees and handling performance management.\n· Quality Control: Monitoring product quality and ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.\n· Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring proper equipment usage and maintenance.\n· Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing production issues, implementing solutions, and suggesting improvements to increase efficiency. Applying Cause and Effect method.\n· Documentation: Performing and maintaining records of production data, employee performance, and other relevant information.\n· Reducing Waste: Identifying target areas in production processes and implementing strategies to reduce waste, improve cycled time and output.\n· Communication and Coordination: Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and management, to facilitate smooth workflows and resolve issues.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMobility to work in office and factory setting including use of standard office equipment, including a computer.\nComfortable working directly in a manufacturing facility and adhering to PPE requirements.\nAble to work a shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 6:00 am-2:00 pm.\nSome travel may be required.\nSalary Range: $27.00/hr to $36.00/hr depending on experience\nReporting: This position has direct reports and reports to operations management.\nWanco Inc.
