Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fabrication Material Handler role involves the movement of materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the production floor.\r\nWhat a typical day looks like:\r\nRead production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority\r\nCoordinate efficient flow of materials and products throughout the purchasing, manufacturing and assembly process\r\nLocate and distribute materials to specified production areas\r\nWork with internal departments (purchasing, planning, etc.) to get updated status of materials\r\nInform production supervisors of material status and consult with supervisor to determine how to resolve outstanding materials that could affect production\r\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\r\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\r\nThe experience we're looking to add to our team:\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\r\n0-2 years' experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, or other related field\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\r\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\r\nEfficient time management skills\r\nGeneral understanding of blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, or engineering diagrams\r\nAbility to operate powered equipment (ex.
