What YOU will doComposite Part Design and ManufacturingDesign composite parts for R&D and technology demonstratorsDesign and build tooling and fixtures for rapid prototypingCreate CAD models and engineering documentationFabricate tooling using additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and composite layup methodsFabricate composite parts using automated and manual composite lay-up processesPlan and perform testing, and iterate design based on test resultsGenerate test plan, test report, technical memos, and design recommendationsProject & Supplier ManagementCoordinate R&D builds, material ordering, trials and schedulesManage vendors, suppliers and external technology partnersSupport team initiatives and resource planning What YOU must bring to SucceedMinimum of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldProficiency in CAD modelling (E.g. Solidworks, NX, CATIA, or equivalent) and familiarity with mechanical testingDesire to work hands-on in lab and pilot manufacturing environmentsThis position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization.
