Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source.Materials ExpeditorMaterials Expeditor works with both warehouses and production facilities to move products. Responsible for delivering production materials and supplies, staging finished products, and maintaining an open line of communication throughout the facility to ensure supply demands are met to increase productivity. The Materials Expeditor will also ensure that all production needs are fully stocked and have the products they need to fulfill orders and move quickly.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work closely with Section Managers to understand Daily Line DemandValidate contents of kits to various areas within the factoryEnsure that proper procedures are followed when procuring \"missing\" parts for those various areas, find those parts that have been issued to a particular job and not in-station, or retrieve parts that must be reissued and deliver to the area of shortage.Confer with production, sales, and warehouse, to expedite the needs of the production teamsCollaborate and reconcile Missing Parts in Station occurrencesResponsible for on-time kit delivery into every work area within the facilityAdjust inventory records to reflect product movement if necessaryWill help orchestrate material movement and storage locations for material handlerWill be responsible for verifying production needs through the shop to ensure minimum downtime in production areasEnsure that kits/parts are delivered to the correct build station/trailer serial numberWork directly with warehouse personnel to make whole any kits that are requested to the line with known parts shortagesIn the event of an in-process change, will be responsible for removal/replacement of parts to satisfy said changeRecord damages to materials during production, initiate proper disposition procedures and replace with proper materials as neededReview orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processingBe aware of advanced production needs, be prepared to know what is needed for production at least three days in advance by areaTrack and record accuracy of critical parts trackerCommunicate with leadership kit inaccuracies in a timely mannerRequired Skills and QualificationsThese are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.Qualifications include:Possess High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED Must possess ability and knowledge to confidently read blueprints and weld proceduresUnderstanding of warehouse software application packages and Microsoft Office proficiencyKnowledge of a warehousing and production fundamentalsAbility to retrieve, analyze, and input dataExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesStrong organizational and time management skillsProven experience in coordinating and directing operationsPreferred Skills and QualificationsThis section should include all preferred but not required skills/qualifications.Established warehouse expertiseEstablished Production ExpertiseHighly efficient warehouse techniques and skillsWorking Conditions:Work is conducted inside and outside during all-weather types.Temperatures will be variable according to season and specific work site.Tasks may involve moderate to heavy physical labor.Walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting are requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to work in cold and hot weather conditions some part of the time.Be able to grip, pull and push
