That is why we can provide the challenges and inspiration to help our people grow professionally and personally.\nERRG's Honolulu Office is seeking a self-motivated, independent, dependable, and a strong communicator to be a Construction Project Manager.\n\nSummary\nPlan, coordinate, and execute environmental investigation/remediation and civil construction activities to ensure that goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within prescribed scopes, schedules, and budgets. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nOversee operational aspects of the office/region in coordination with the Regional Manager and the Technical Manager. Oversight to include coordination and direction of craft, technical, and administrative personnel.\nManage environmental and civil construction projects and programs.\nPlan and direct installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning/removal of facilities and equipment.\nDirect, review, and approve product designs and changes.\nMaintain health and safety and quality control requirements in accordance with corporate and legal requirements.\nIdentify, review, and approve selection of subcontractors. Perform oversight of subcontractor activities.\nPrepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and support the negotiation of contracts.\nPerform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.\nDevelop and maintain baseline budgets and schedules for assigned projects. Perform cost tracking and schedule maintenance using MS Project, P6, or other software platforms.\nSupport marketing, business development, and project backlog goals by forecasting work on existing contracts, identifying potential opportunities, and supporting proposal efforts.\nReview project operations to ensure the coordination of efforts and the timely completion of work.\nRecruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee development and maintenance of staff competence.\nReport to Regional Manager\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience.\n10 years of industry-related experience.\nDemonstrated environmental and/or construction management experience which includes both technical and operational aspects\nProven leadership in bidding and executing environmental construction field projects.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with previous involvement in preparing project proposals, submittals, RFIs, and close-out documentation.\nAbility to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff and subcontractors.\nKnowledge of MS Word Office Suite Products.\nCurrent 40hr HAZWOPER or 8hr Refresher certification or willingness to obtain training and provide certificate of completion prior to the first day of employment.\nAbility to travel up to 25% to 50% of the time to project sites which may be in remote locations.\nLocated on Oahu, or willing to relocate to Oahu\nPreferred Qualifications\nDegree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.\nProfessional Certification (PE, PG, PMP, etc.)\n10-15 years of industry-related experience.\nDepartment of Defense/Department of Energy contracts experience\nProject experience in Hawaii and/or other areas of the Pacific\n\nERRG is committed to providing a safe work environment and to fostering the health and well-being of its employees.
