Accounts Director with Fabrication Experience

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Director to join our team and help us cultivate strong relationships with our clients and identify new revenue streams.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Director will lead our sales initiatives while managing and nurturing client accounts. This role requires a results-oriented professional with a robust sales background who can effectively utilize and mentor the sales team to connect with clients, identify their needs, and offer customized solutions that drive successful projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for exceeding sales targets while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Position Responsibilities include:
Maintain a consistent sales stream to keep the company at full production capacity.
Ensure the entire sales team is fostering relationships with new and existing clients, gauging and developing proposals to address their needs.
Develop and implement sales tools and techniques to encourage revenue.
Maintain accurate and profitable pricing on all bids.
Identify new business opportunities such as new markets, clients, partnerships, or products and services.
Analyze market trends and create strategies with the General Manager to increase opportunities.
Personnel management of the Accounts team, including talent acquisition, interviewing, onboarding, and training.
Distribution of requested bids to Account Managers and oversight of the department’s bandwidth.
Working with Account Managers to meet their established sales goals.
Supervise relationships between clients and Account Managers.
Assure proposals developed by the Accounts team are on time and accurate.
Development and implementation of sales-based SOPs, and monitoring their execution.
Ascertain that project handoffs to the production department are successful.
Work with adjacent Directors on company development and processes.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering (or related field).
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales and accounts management role within a fabrication environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leading role.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
Willingness to travel as required to meet clients.
