CNC LATHE

Cnc Lathe OperatorWe are seeking a skilled CNC lathe operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tight tolerances, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsSelect proper tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials (carbon steel, stainless, alloys, etc.)Perform basic program edits and offsets as needed (Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls)Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Maintain tight tolerances and ensure product quality meets standardsPerform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organizedFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualifications2+ years of CNC lathe operating experience (set-up experience preferred)Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T is a plusExperience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controlsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsExperience machining oil & gas components (valves, flanges, fittings)Knowledge of tooling and cutting techniquesAbility to troubleshoot machining issuesExperience with manual machining is a plusWork EnvironmentShop/manufacturing environmentStanding for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbsOvertime and weekend work may be required
