This role partners with leadership, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies to drive continuous improvement in safety performance, environmental stewardship, and risk management.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and management systems to support regulatory compliance and company standards.\n\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations , including required permits, reporting, recordkeeping, and programs such as OSHA logs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and related compliance activities.\n\nConduct risk assessments, facility audits, inspections, and incident investigations , and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety and environmental performance.\n\nOversee EHS training, emergency response planning, safety committees, workers’ compensation, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.\n\nManage EHS budgets, performance metrics, KPIs, and departmental priorities while supporting leadership, mentoring supervisors, and maintaining alignment with HTGSS values, ISO standards, and internal policies.\n\nQualifications\n\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations , including compliance reporting and permitting requirements.\n\nProven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management .\n\nExpertise in environmental compliance programs , including waste, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous materials, and sustainability/ESG initiatives.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to train, mentor, and influence teams across all levels of the organization.\n\nExcellent analytical, project management, and continuous improvement skills , with a track record of organizing priorities, solving problems proactively, and driving measurable EHS results.\n\nCompensation: ($85,000 - $105,000)\n\nIf you believe your background aligns with this opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
