Production Foreman with production operations of the Company's operated properties. Responsible for inspections of production sites and facilities, data gathering and quality, artificial lift optimization, and limited remote monitoring of production. Works under minimal supervision.\n\nEDUCATION\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nEXPERIENCE\nRequires a minimum of 3 years of related industry experience in lease operations with optimization responsibilities\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nDemonstrate and promote safe and ethical behavior at all times\nUnderstand and apply all Company policies and ensures others comply with these policies\nPossess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected\nPerform operational checks of assigned wells, equipment and production facilities\nExpert in field on subjects such as artificial plunger lift operation, surface facility equipment operations and repair, oil & gas well chemical uses, and efficient time management\nAddress underperforming wells in collaboration with peers, DSC/production analyst, Foreman and engineer\nMonitor Progress: Minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs (i.e. swab, slickline, plunger maintenance, hot oil/water, regulatory, routine testing, batch/chemical/scale jobs, long stroke/respace, fluid levels, dynamometer).\nCollaborate with peers, DSC/PA, Foreman & Engineer concerning wells and lease activities\nParticipate and contribute to well reviews and route reviews\nTroubleshoot and optimize producing wells & underperforming wells.\nReview production variance reports, make recommendations where applicable.\nAssist with the identification of opportunities for operations cost reductions, job efficiency and safety improvements\nMaintain regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Environmental Health and Safety Department\nAble to understand and articulate the supporting reasons and value of processes and priorities\nDevelop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and alignment wellness.\nAssist training newly hired and/or less experienced lease operators\nReview, process, and approve workorder tickets, invoices as required\n\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS\nOil and Gas Industry Experience Required\nPractice safe work habits at all times\nStrong commitment to safety and environment\nDemonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes\nIntermediate computer skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAble to work within a team environment\nCreative individual, capable of analyzing and solving mechanical problems\nDemonstrate basic mechanical knowledge and process flow of all production facilities\nPerform operational checks of assigned facilities and wells\nCapable of safely climbing stairs, ladders, fixed to various equipment during production and drilling operations\nMust be able to safely and effectively wear Self Contained Breathing equipment and work in an H2S environment\nPosition requires operation of Company vehicles.
