In this role you will provide the design and delivery of technical solutions and custom application development within the ServiceNow environment. Seeking a candidate with a solution-driven mindset to best work through the deliverables around the needs of the organization. This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC. Candidates must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop, design, configure and roll out new application modules, workflows and catalog requests.\nDesign and deliver technical solutions that are developed on the ServiceNow platform for all internal employees.\nProvide software configuration and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations.\nCreate integrations and process automation using API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.\nCreate and maintain Service Catalog Items and Knowledge Bases.\nWork with IT Service Management Team and other key client stakeholders within IT and the Business.\nUnderstand business requirements for ServiceNow.\nArchitect integrations with ServiceNow using LDAP, Single Sign-on, Mid server, Web-services, Email and several in-house applications and technologies.\nParticipate in sizing the ServiceNow application for future growth and scalability.\nPerform technical configurations, application maintenance and house-keeping activities.\nDesign security of the application, and own data security function.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, including those related to ServiceNow application configuration.\nFind opportunities to improve the platform.\nUnderstand the large scale thinking and apply the same for designing solutions.\nRequired Experience and Skills:\n\nAt least six years of ServiceNow development skills with 6 years of experience in an enterprise-level environment.\nExperience supporting the customization, administration, and configuration of the ServiceNow tool.\nExperience with HTML, Angular, and JavaScript.\nExperience with Service Catalog and Service Portal within ServiceNow.\nExperience with the Tokyo release.\nExperience working with creation and customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Portal, and Service Catalog Automation System/Process Automation (Orchestration).\nPrior experience integrating ServiceNow to other applications and ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible solutions to complex problems.\nAbility to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.\nStrong communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.\nProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / Serena / SVN.\nEducation:\n\nBachelors degree and eight of experience; Or\nMasters degree and six of experience; Or\nsubsequent work experience\nSecurity Clearance:\n\nCandidates must be eligible to obtain a US Public Trust clearance.\nIf you feel you are qualified and want to be considered for this position, please supply the following to: qdqtcitd88hkmmxda8r85s3wse@crelate.net , and please put the job number 6679 in the subject line:\n\nUpdated resume including MM/YYYY for each employer.\nBest times/dates to interview (plus phone # you can best be contacted at).\nAvailability to start once given formal offers.\nSummit Technologies Inc. appreciates your interest.
