The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure across Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and beyond. This role requires strong hands-on experience with computer systems, IP networking, structured cabling, and a customer-first attitude. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently at client sites as well as remotely.\nResponsibilities\nProvide technical support to end-users via help desk and on-site services, ensuring timely resolution of issues\nDeploy, configure, and maintain Ubiquiti networking equipment including UniFi Access Points, Access Control, and Protect (surveillance/security)\nDeploy and manage Fortinet firewall solutions for clients\nAdminister and support Microsoft 365 environments including user setup, licensing, and troubleshooting\nTroubleshoot software, hardware, VPN connectivity, and firewall configurations\nAssist in the setup and configuration of IT infrastructure including LANs and servers\nRun and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling\nMaintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and client configurations\nCollaborate with team members to improve IT services and enhance the client experience\nTravel to client sites across our service territory, with occasional overnight stays as needed\nExperience & Qualifications\nProven experience in a help desk, desktop support, or MSP role\nStrong knowledge of Windows; macOS and Linux familiarity a plus\nGood working knowledge of IP networking concepts and technologies (LAN/WAN)\nFamiliarity with Ubiquiti UniFi products (WiFi, Access, Protect) preferred\nFortinet firewall experience a plus\nMicrosoft 365 administration experience\nExperience running and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling\nVOIP knowledge a plus\nExcellent communication and customer service skills — you will be the face of Micro Advantage at client sites\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment\nMust have stable, reliable transportation\nValid driver's license required\nMust reside in Ohio — preference given to candidates in the Mid-Ohio area\nCompensation\n$50,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience\nBenefits\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nHealth savings account (HSA)\nPaid time off\nFlexible schedule\nSchedule\nMonday–Friday, day shift\nWeekends as needed\nTravel required, including occasional overnight stays\nWork Location: On the road / Client sites throughout OH, WV, PA, and IN\nMust be able to travel to client sites throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
