Position Responsibilities: The officer will patrol parking lots to ensure compliance with traffic safety policies, including speed limits, pedestrian crossing, and proper parking in designated areas. Warnings, notices, or parking citations will be issued when necessary. Accuracy in Parking Counts: Ensure accurate data on parking occupancy to support the management of construction projects and ensure that spaces are allocated efficiently. This impacts the timing and success of the construction phases Traffic Safety: Enforce traffic safety policies within the parking lots, ensuring that vehicles move safely, and that pedestrian pathways are clear and properly maintained Controls overload of parking lot and influence traffic flow into, out of and through, the parking lot. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency desirable Possession of a valid Florida Driver's license with a "good" driving history (i.e. no D.U.I. or felony traffic violations) and no more than 4 points.
