Job DescriptionThe technician will be part of a team working on developing and characterizing processes for marketed biotherapeutics. Experience with small-scale bioprocess lab operations would be preferred. Familiarity in aseptic cell culture techniques is a plus. Good organizational skills and willingness to learn and perform tasks with integrity are required.The Lab Support Technician will assist in the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all equipment and materials are readily available for the lab staff. The role involves maintaining the lab environment, managing inventory, consumable ordering, and supporting the technical staff in various tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaceManage inventory of lab supplies and reagentsWork with stocking groups to maintain minimum consumable quantitiesAssist in setting up and conducting experimentsBuilding 2L bioreactors for scientist experimentsAutoclave glass reactors prior to cell culture experimentsMaintain accurate records of lab activitiesSupport lab staff in various tasks as neededQualificationsPrior experience working in a laboratory environmentExperience with 2L bioreactors is preferredFamiliarity with laboratory instruments such as Nova Flex and blood gas analyzers (BGA) is advantageousStrong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasksHigh level of attention to detail and ability to follow established protocolsAssociate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience requiredAuthorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationWhat To Expect In The Hiring Process10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader45-60 Meeting In-Person. on-site to meet with the Team The position is on-site, full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday.
