{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"33ec6af657e1fb4ccf43d90c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/33ec6af657e1fb4ccf43d90c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/33ec6af657e1fb4ccf43d90c","title":"Functional Safety Engineer- Autosar","description":"As Hardware Functional Safety Engineer working in the Electric Power Conversion group, you will be responsible for performing functional safety development of internally designed power electronics components and drive-unit systems.\r\nCore responsibilities for this role are\r\nPerform and document hardware safety analysis on the electrical hardware to address safety anomalies.\r\nDevelop Hardware FTA, FMEA & FMEDA's, DFA for electrical hardware design.\r\nSupport reliability organization in deriving mission profiles, FIT rates for hardware components using IEC or Siemens standards.\r\nDevelop hardware safety concepts, hardware safety requirements to lead/drive and provide electrical hardware design recommendations.\r\nDevelop hardware safety concepts, hardware safety analysis and requirements for SoCs, PMICs and microcontrollers.\r\nDevelop hardware architecture in safety critical path for different subsystems.\r\nSupport (but not develop) software safety analysis (FTA, FMEA) and software safety requirements development.\r\nDevelop upstream and downstream traceability between hardware safety, technical safety requirements, relevant test cases and work-products in traceability tool.\r\nDevelop Design Verification Plan (DVP) for relevant hardware safety and system safety requirements including fault injections.\r\nSupport the electrical hardware and power electronics software/controls test teams in executing test cases with troubleshooting.\r\nSupport vehicle functional safety team in development of technical safety requirements and hazard analysis risk assessment.\r\nDocumenting all relevant safety requirements, analysis, architecture implementation, verification and validation events for each sub-system\r\nRequirements\r\nMS, BS or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering\r\nEmbedded systems design experience\r\n5+ Years of experience in developing electrical safety hardware design with a functional safety engineering background in ISO 26262 part – 4,5 8 within the automotive or equivalent industries (e.g. aerospace)\r\nUnderstanding of electrical hardware design architecture preferably of Power Electronics applications.\r\nDetailed knowledge of electronics design and development process\r\nDetailed experience analyzing electrical circuits preferably in power electronics applications\r\nPrior experience of performing hardware FTAs, FMEDAs, DFAs at the component level.\r\nAbility to understand and create traceability in JAMA or similar requirements management tool.\r\nAbility to work with resilience, zooming out and with out of the box thinking.\r\nStrong team player with a drive to exceed expectations and meet deadlines.\r\nExperience working within a cross-functional team\r\nPreferred\r\nTools expertise with Medini, Plato or similar strongly preferred.\r\nExperience with LTSpice or similar simulation tool with prior experince of simulating circuit failure effects.\r\nISO 26262 Certified\r\nThis is a remote position.\r\nCompensation: $110,000.00 -
