This role leads the deployment of Lean principles across the site and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed continuous improvement into daily operations and plant culture.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nIdentify improvement opportunities through data collection and observation within the plant and office. Build and maintain funnel of events.\nFacilitate and coach Kaizen events, providing guidance to cross-functional team members before, during, and after improvement activities.\nPartner with functional leaders and frontline teams to support improvements in daily management metrics.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement improvements.\nTrack, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs).\nSupport corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, customer issues, or internal findings.\nAssist with equipment-related improvement and maintenance initiatives.\nParticipate in the company-wide CI network to learn best practices, tools, and methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement knowledge sharing.\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n\nBachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or a related technical field.\n2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to continuous improvement concepts (e.g., Kaizen, Rapid Improvement Events), preferably in a molding environment.\nWorking knowledge of CI tools such as 5S-Visual management, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, Daily Management, Standard Work, and Kanban.\nDemonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, make data-driven decisions, and translate into actionable improvements.\nCommunicate the CI strategy and roadmap with all levels of the organization.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with operators, supervisors, engineers, and leadership.\nExposure to project management or quality management systems.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and basic statistical tools.\nExperience supporting change management initiatives.\nStrong understanding of rubber processing techniques is a plus but not required (e.g., mixing, extrusion, compression/injection molding).\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.\n\nJob Benefits\n\nHealth & Dental\nLife Insurance\n401(k) with 100% match up to 4%\nSTD & LTD\nVariety of Additional Supplemental Insurances\nCompany Paid Holidays, Vacation & PTO\n\nAbout ASC Engineered Solutions\nFollowing the 2019 merger of Anvil International and Smith-Cooper International, the unified company relaunched in March 2021 as ASC Engineered Solutions.
