Day Porter

Job Description :We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter ensures the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in alignment with company standards, contractual specifications, and agreed-upon performance levels. This position supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.Duties:Inspect and clean building perimeter grounds, sidewalks, parking lots, and loading docks.Maintain the exterior appearance of buildings, including entrance doors, trim, metal work, and window frames.Blow leaves and debris from entrances and sidewalks (early morning task).Clean and secure dumpster areas.Water flower planters between 2202 and 2204 Timberloch buildings daily.Clean cooling tower/chiller yards and mechanical/electrical rooms.Check and clear parking lot and roof drains of debris.Sweep loading dock areas.Empty and maintain cigarette urns, replacing sand as needed.Remove gum, litter, and debris from sidewalks and public areas.Remove cobwebs from canopies and building entrances.Clean algae or buildup from exterior surfaces and sidewalks.Report maintenance or plumbing issues to management promptly.Assist building engineers as needed.Respond to emergency calls from management.Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Management Team.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders.Must be able to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.Proficiency in basic English (reading, speaking, understanding).Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Join our team as a Day Porter and contribute to creating a clean and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for everyone in the facility!Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pmPay: Starting at $14.16/hourLocation: The Woodlands
