The Pharmacy Supervisor may be responsible for the direct supervision of any combination of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy learners, pharmacists, or support staff who work within their scope of responsibility. Specific responsibilities of the Supervisor will be documented and retained internally by the Department of Pharmacy.Essential FunctionsOversee day to day operations or applications within their scope of responsibilitiesSupervise and lead the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy servicesDevelop and/or maintain policies and proceduresServe as the liaison to coordinate compliance and regulatory issues for areas of responsibilityIdentify opportunities to redesign systems of oversight to maximize performance Review reports for medication errors, adverse drug events, and/or ineffective serviceOther duties as assignedEducationBachelor of Science in Pharmacy (required)Licensure/CertificationPharmacist Licensure – State Board of Pharmacy (required)Experience3 years pharmacist experience (required)Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrates leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, and decision makingPossesses extensive knowledge of clinical practice or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environmentAs a Bon Secours associate, you're part of a Mission that matters.
