This is an opportunity for a high-ownership engineer to take software off the bench and deploy it into operational field environments across the US & Europe. Sitting at the intersection of software engineering, hardware integration, and field testing, you will work directly with operators, autopilots, onboard compute, and edge hardware to get real-time systems integrated and flying. Working alongside an elite, close-knit engineering team, you will move rapidly between writing production code, field debugging, and translating real-world operational feedback into product improvements.This is a role for an adventurous engineer with a strong bias for action who thrives under real-world constraints, enjoys working close to hardware, and wants their software to have an immediate, tangible impact in critical situations.Paying between $100-160,000 base + equity + unlimited PTO. What you'll doOwn end-to-end deployment of production software onto edge compute and autonomous flight hardware in active operational environmentsWrite performant C++ and Python for core software integrations, deployment tooling, and real-time debugging workflowsIntegrate software platforms with onboard compute, sensors, telemetry, and flight systemsBuild and optimize operator-facing software, application tooling, and scalable deployment pipelinesWork directly alongside field operators to test, debug, and iterate on live software in real-world conditionsRapidly translate field feedback into code fixes, performance optimizations, and feature enhancementsTravel up to 50% internationally and domestically to lead technical integrations and field deploymentsYou'll likely have:Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical disciplineOpen to range of experience levels - from high-calibre recent graduates to mid-level software engineersSolid software engineering foundations with strong hands-on C++ (essential) and Python skillsProficiency with Linux environments, edge compute platforms, and software-hardware interfacesRapid diagnostic and debugging skills across complex codebases and live systemsA high-ownership, bias-for-action mindset with comfort working directly with end-users in fast-moving environmentsNice to have: Experience with ArduPilot, PX4, MAVLink, companion computers, UAV software, telemetry links, or dual-use/defense technology platforms.Disclaimer:Attis Global Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
