Senior Industrial Designer — Consumer ProductsLocation: Needham, MA*THIS IS A GENERAL POSTING NOT TIED TO A SPECIFIC ROLE*About the roleWe’re hiring experienced industrial designers to lead product design from concept through production for premium consumer lifestyle products. You’ll own creative vision, drive user-centered solutions, and deliver manufacturable designs that balance aesthetics, ergonomics and cost. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where bold ideas and excellent execution matter.Key responsibilitiesLead end-to-end product design: ideation, sketching, CAD, prototyping and production handoffTranslate user insights into elegant, usable product solutions and persuasive visual storytellingDefine and maintain design language, proportions, surfaces and detailing for premium intentCollaborate with engineering, CMF, UX, marketing and manufacturing partners to ensure feasibility and qualityDeliver clean, manufacturable CAD and prototypes that meet DFM and cost targetsMentor junior designers and drive creative direction across projectsRequirementsBA/BS in Industrial Design (MS preferred)5+ years designing physical consumer productsProven track record taking products to mass productionStrong sketching, CAD (SolidWorks/Rhino), rendering (KeyShot) and Adobe skillsDeep understanding of materials, part design, tooling and DFMPortfolio demonstrating concept-to-launch workCompensation & benefits Salary range: $82,500–$166,800 plus benefits (health, 401(k) match, PTO, parental leave, product discounts, professional development).
