Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People Customers TrustThe grinder will work in a team environment to complete assigned tasks related to paper rolls using various measuring tools and grinders.Principle AccountabilitiesSet up and grind all types of rolls to specific tolerances and finishes (training provided)Operate two-wheel Ferrell grinders, overhead cranes and tow motors safely and efficiently (training provided)Ability to read blueprintsProficiency using different types of measuring instruments such as micrometers, PI tapes, dial indicator, etc.Record keeping – complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatlyMust keep a safe and clean machine and work areaRequirementsAbility to work overtime as neededMust be at least 18+ years oldHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseStrong mechanical aptitude and math skillsMust be able to lift 50#Willingness to cross train and assist in other areas as neededPreferred QualificationsPrevious roll grinding experience a plusExperience working in a team environmentSchedule6:00AM – 4:00pm (4-day work week)Monday thru Thursday, Tuesday thru Friday - Rotates weeklyWeekend work when requiredSafety Boot ReimbursementCompensation And BenefitsStarting salary for position: $27.00 -$40.50 per hour. Paid Vacation: Generous vacation policy. Paid Holidays. Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
