What role you will play in our teamAs the Procurement Supervisor you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a team responsible for a portfolio of Production Projects goods and/or services agreements within ExxonMobil's Unconventional O&G business, ensuring business objectives are met and ensuring development, coaching, training, and support of a team of personnel. You will be a Subject matter expert for purchase-to-pay process and alternative procurement methods. This position will be located in our Spring TX office.What you will doEncourage clients to utilize the most cost effective procurement method for their requirementsReview expiring Agreements or new requests prior to assigning to relevant Procurement teamsProvide strategic guidance on process improvements to Contracts Leads and Contracts ManagersCoach, mentor and supervise members of the designated Procurement Team; provide assistance and expertiseAssign work within the Procurement team to ensure performance targets are consistently achieved (cycle time, timeliness, etc.)Coordinate and hold periodic meetings with other similar groups within & without the region promoting alignment among the PtP key players.Work effectively with local, regional, and global teamsDrive procurement process consistency, efficiency and effectivenessLead, coach, mentor, control, coordinate and steward the day-to-day operationsManage headcount and budget for the teamCreate and steward a positive team environmentAbout YouSkills and QualificationsBachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degreesA minimum of 10 years relevant Procurement experienceStrong analytical skills; ability to quickly evaluate data, generate insights, and make meaningful decisionsProven knowledge of Requisition to Pay (RtP) process, including ERP systemsDemonstrated leadership and operational coaching skillsExcellent communication skillsEffective collaboratorTeam player with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlinesAbility to balance competing priorities and deliver results Preferred Qualifications/ ExperienceMaster's in business administration (MBA) or Supply ChainA minimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil and Gas or Energy IndustryBusiness and category management acumenAbility to demonstrate a sense of urgency and personal ownershipProven ability to advocate and influence at all levels of the organizationExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning systemsDemonstrated history of a service mentality, exemplifying ethics and controls applicationRecord of proven analytical skills and experience with Total Cost of Ownership conceptsProven record of understanding client business needs and objectivesYour benefitsAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
