Technicians must ensure that proper customer specifications and tolerances are maintained throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the highest product quality. Cross-training into other areas is required.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nSet up and operate Flash Cut.\nLoad or feed material into Flash Cut.\nAdjust Flashcut to the proper settings as required.\nLayout and prepare materials for cutting.\nTrain or assist in training new workers.\nInspect finished products for and conformance to specifications and quality standards, visually using instruments.\nProgram AutoCAD for operation of Atom Flashcut.\nPerform maintenance on equipment as required.\nAudit the use of safety devices, equipment, and general housekeeping.\nInterface with other employees/trainees and value streams as required to accomplish assignments.\nPerform other functions as required.\nMaintain a dependable attendance record.\nFollow all related work instructions.\nParticipates in Safety programs.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nPrevious gasket experience desirable.\nPrefer a Minimum of one (1) year of CNC machine experience.\nExperience working in an ISO-compliant quality system is a plus\nAble to work from documentation such as drawings, 3D models and DXF, DWG files.\nGood working knowledge of math and geometry and ability to work in both Metric and English units of measure.\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nTrade School or Associate Degree in a related field.\n\nLANGUAGE ABILITY\n\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
