With over 29 years of experience and a global footprint across 25 countries, WebCreek provides world-class software teams to Fortune 500 companies, fast-growing startups, and innovative organizations.\r\nIf you enjoy solving complex problems, working close to hardware, and developing reliable embedded systems in a collaborative environment, we would love to connect with you.\r\nWhat You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using modern C/C++ (C++17)\r\nImplement features for a dual-processor ESP32-based architecture and coordinate communication between processors\r\nDevelop reliable firmware components that manage hardware devices including LEDs, strobes, audio systems, sensors, and device inputs\r\nIntegrate hardware peripherals and communication interfaces using protocols such as SPI, I2C, I2S, and UART\r\nImplement networking functionality using MQTT, TCP/IP, and REST APIs for device communication and configuration\r\nBuild robust WiFi and Ethernet connectivity with failover and resilience mechanisms\r\nDevelop and maintain state machine logic responsible for system lifecycle management\r\nImplement audio input/output handling and processing pipelines for embedded devices\r\nPerform debugging and troubleshooting of firmware using embedded development tools\r\nWrite tests and perform system integration validation to ensure reliability in safety-critical environments\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, developers, and product teams\r\nWhat You Bring 3+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development\r\nStrong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems development\r\nfirmwareExperience working with ESP32 or similar microcontroller platforms\r\nHands-on experience with ESP-IDF or similar embedded development frameworks\r\nExperience working with FreeRTOS or other real-time operating systems\r\nStrong understanding of embedded communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, I2S, and UART\r\nExperience implementing network communication protocols including MQTT and HTTP/REST\r\nFamiliarity with Git-based version control workflows\r\nExperience developing software for real-time or resource-constrained systems\r\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments\r\nPreferred Qualifications Experience working with audio processing pipelines or audio codecs\r\nExperience with multi-processor embedded systems\r\nFamiliarity with LED control systems\r\nExperience with CMake build systems\r\nExperience using Python for testing or tooling\r\nExperience with safety-critical systems such as emergency, industrial, or medical devices\r\nWhat You'll Gain Full-time opportunity within a growing global technology company\r\nCompetitive compensation based on experience\r\nOpportunity to work with international teams and enterprise-level systems\r\nFlexible remote work environment\r\nAccess to ongoing technical training and professional development\r\nLocation Remote (Latin America-based candidates)\r\nWebCreek is an equal opportunity employer.
