In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with operational and business data in a fast-paced shipping and logistics environment. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and analysts to support reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making across the organization.What you’ll do:Assist in building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support business operations and leadership decision-makingWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise data warehousesSupport data quality monitoring, validation, and cleansing efforts across key business datasetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Application Development, Business Intelligence, and Operations to gather and translate business requirements into analytics solutionsParticipate in Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives involving emerging technologies such as AI, GenAI, and cloud-based analytics toolsDocument findings, create process documentation, and present insights to team leads and stakeholdersAssist with ad hoc data analysis requests from business partners across Customer Service, Commercial, and Operations groupsYou have these skills:Self-motivated with an eagerness and passion to learnStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentIntellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindsetAnd these qualifications:Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related fieldFoundational knowledge of SQL and relational databasesFamiliarity with Excel for data analysis and reportingExposure to Python or other scripting languages is a plusExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plusFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plusMinimum GPA of 3.0 or higherApplication Instructions:Please apply with a resume.
