The Associate Category Manager will manage a segment of the Diversified Components category within the North America region. This is a fantastic opportunity for career development into Category Management.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\nCollaboration: Identify, engage and align with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality or other business partners) to capture category requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality;\nPartner with business unit Procurement teams to efficiently transition suppliers as needed; Support region/sector New Product Development (NPD) Procurement teams through preferred supplier programs.\nNegotiations: Support negotiations and supplier selection; accountable for contract lifecycle management and compliance.\nCost Management: Responsible for delivering category productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects.\nSupplier Management: Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers within category; Ensure creation of supplier profiles for all SRM suppliers.\nRisk Management: Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.\n\nWhat you will bring:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.\n2+ years of procurement / sourcing experience, ex: consulting, purchasing / buyer, and/or analyst experience.\nAbility to assess vendors and demonstrated negotiating skills.\nDemonstrated experience facilitating discussions and strong conflict resolution skills.\nProfessional communication; both verbal and written are required.\n\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n\n$72,611.66 - $101,394.99\n\nCompensation Type:\n\nSalary\n\nIncentive Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nSales Commission Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
