We are looking for an Assistant General Manager for our RISE Dispensary to support and manage a diverse team in driving results and delivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. You will assist the General Manager in leading and managing activities related to customer experience, inventory operations, and team member development. The Assistant General Manager role puts you on a fast-track to growth and is a developmental step to General Manager.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nOperations\r\nManage and oversee the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.\r\nMotivate team members to execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions effectively.\r\nOversee and manage quality product inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance.\r\nMaintain appropriate cash management, handling protocols and daily reconciliation.\r\nManage effective order & expense management processes aligned with store budgets.\r\nExperience\r\nCoach and motivate Team Members to consistently deliver memorable, positive in-store customer experiences.\r\nLead by example and set the rhythm for effective \"Leader on Duty\" (LOD) shifts. Actively supervise team members, provide recognition, and redirect behaviors to fuel the customer journey.\r\nExecute a seamless omni-channel customer experience and lead teams to deliver consistency across in-store, drive-thru, curbside & delivery.\r\nCoach team members to deliver Loyalty goals, drive customer retention and repeat traffic.\r\nServe as a liaison to the local community and support community outreach events and initiatives.\r\nPeople\r\nIn partnership with the General Manager, build and retain a high-performing team through selecting the best talent and effective onboarding, training, and development.\r\nSupport a culture of engagement and performance through coaching, feedback, and recognition.\r\nMotivate dispensary team to exceed revenue targets and key metrics, with an emphasis on team member behaviors, service techniques and product knowledge.\r\nExecute hourly scheduling to align with business needs, hours targets, and team member availability.\r\nHold team members accountable for accurate timekeeping, schedule compliance, and reliability.\r\nDevelop Leaders and Team Member talent and effectively address performance issues on a timely basis.\r\nPerform other duties as needed.\r\nQualifications\r\nAt least three years of managing teams in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations\r\nCannabis experience preferred\r\nInventory control experience preferred\r\nMeet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs\r\nMust have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.\r\nMust be 21 years or older.\r\nMust pass any and all required background checks.\r\nMust possess valid driver's license or state ID.\r\nMust understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb\r\nMust have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.\r\nSkills\r\nMust be proactive, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills.\r\nMeet timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure.\r\nContinuously open to constructive, developmental feedback, ability to maintain composure even in difficult situations.\r\nHigh level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, often working cross-functionally.\r\nAbility to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email\r\nHighly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness.\r\nAdapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment\r\nPossesses a high level of critical thinking\r\nOperates with a high level of professionalism and disputes\r\nAdditional Requirements\r\nMust have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a workday)\r\nMove about the dispensary in order to fulfill work assignments and assist employees and patients and/or customers in various locations of the dispensary\r\nRemain in a stationary position, if required, up to and including in an office inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently\r\nPosition self to move inventory and materials in storage areas\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nPatient and/or customer-facing environment\r\nAbility to work outdoors invarying and sometimes adverse weather conditions\r\nExposure to cannabis and/or allergens that might be present in an environment where cannabis is present
