Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!\r\nJob Summary\r\nThe Server Assistant supports the front-of-house team by assisting with food and beverage service, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for members and guests. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency. Server Assistants help with setting up, cleaning, and supporting service tasks, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere.\r\nReporting Structure\r\nReports to the F&B Director, Banquet Manager or Restaurant Manager\r\nDay-to-Day\r\nAssist with delivering food and beverages to members/guests, ensuring prompt service.\r\nHelp maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including setting up tables and restocking supplies.\r\nGain basic knowledge of the à la carte menu and daily specials to assist with service and answer simple questions.\r\nGreet members/guests with a friendly attitude, providing basic assistance and ensuring a welcoming environment.\r\nCollaborate with team members to ensure a smooth dining experience, providing support as needed.\r\nAssist in handling Member/Guest requests and complaints, escalating issues to Servers or management when necessary.\r\nComplete side work, including cleaning, organizing, and stocking work areas to meet club standards.\r\nFollow safety and cleanliness guidelines, ensuring all areas are maintained in accordance with Club policies.\r\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management, including supporting special events and large parties.\r\nAdditional Duties\r\nDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.\r\nFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.\r\nMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.\r\nFollow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.\r\nTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.\r\nAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.\r\nAttend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success.\r\nWear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.\r\nAbout You\r\nPreferred\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\r\nPrevious experience in Food and Beverage service.\r\nCurrent Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations.\r\nCompletion of Invited's F&B Service Training program.\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and effectively.\r\nAbility to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nMust be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.\r\nAbility to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.\r\nCapable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.\r\nAble to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.\r\nEffective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.\r\nPrimary Tools/Equipment\r\nTrays\r\nPOS System\r\nBottle Opener\r\nWine Tool\r\nWork Schedule\r\nAttendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule.\r\nAdditional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.\r\nHave more questions?
