{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"335e7eaca490ef3400a9dc41","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/335e7eaca490ef3400a9dc41","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/335e7eaca490ef3400a9dc41","title":"Electrical Engineer","description":"Position: Electrical Engineer 2 - 34534-1\nLocation: Peoria, IL\nDuration: Fulltime to L&T\nJob Description:\nEducation & Experience Required:\nBS in engineering required\nMaster’s or above will not be considered overqualified but work experience requirement will not change based on level of education\nMinimum two years’ relevant work experience which must include at least one of the below:\nElectrical troubleshooting experience on various circuits.\nExperience working with harnesses on various applications.\nTesting of various components.\nTechnical Skills (Required)\nAbility to understand complex wiring circuits for test equipment and machines.\nAbility to read prints and understand requirements needed to produce that part.\nBasic computer software knowledge, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.\nAbility to use Excel to track project progress.\n(Desired)\nBackground in test, preferably on machines.\nExperience in instrumentation.\nPosition’s Contributions to Work Group:\nComplete differing levels of project work as it relates to complex electrical service tooling.\nIntroduce new tooling solutions as required.\nPerform maintenance tasks on existing tooling.\nExperience working with global service tools will be gained through this role.\nReason/motivation for request:\nAdditional support for current engineering needs.\nNPI ramp up is forecast, and additional support is needed to cover requests beyond normal workload.\nTypical task breakdown:\nCreation of electrical tooling as requests come in from dealers.\nCorrection of existing tooling issues in multiple areas, can be updating an existing tool for compliance regulations, or for replacing existing tooling with replacement tooling.\nInteraction with team:\nDaily interaction with engineering team lead to report project progress and for training.\nDaily interaction with other electrical engineering team members to understand tooling needs and requests.\nOccasional interaction with procurement and authorizations teams as required for project work.\nWork environment:\n3 days in the office, 2 remote once candidate is trained.
