The role focuses on optimizing production performance, supporting new product introductions, executing capital projects, and ensuring safe, efficient plant testing and validation.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, document and revise process layouts and P&IDs using AutoCAD and engineering standards.\nLead process development activities for new product introductions, including scale-up, pilot trials and transfer to production.\nPlan, manage and execute capital projects including scope definition, cost estimates, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams for project approval and delivery.\nDevelop and execute plant tests, commissioning plans and validation activities to ensure new and modified systems meet performance and safety requirements.\nIdentify, prioritize and implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce cycle time, lower costs and improve quality using data-driven methods.\nSupport day-to-day production by troubleshooting process issues, providing technical guidance, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nPrepare technical reports, process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for operations and maintenance teams.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and maintenance to ensure alignment on project goals, materials selection, and process control strategies.\nEnsure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and participate in risk assessments and incident investigations.\nMonitor process KPIs and develop dashboards and metrics to communicate performance and the impact of improvement initiatives.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.\n3+ years of process engineering or manufacturing experience in a production environment.\nProven experience with AutoCAD and creation/revision of P&IDs and process documentation.\nExperience leading capital projects and navigating project approval processes from scope to commissioning.\nHands-on experience with plant testing, commissioning and validation activities.\nDemonstrated success in new product introduction (NPI) and scale-up from pilot to production.\nStrong background in production support, troubleshooting and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).\nEffective communication and teamwork skills, with experience working cross-functionally across manufacturing, quality and procurement.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical, dental, vision insurance\nPaid time off\n401k with company match\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
