This includes managing EHS regulations, policies, and safety objectives to ensure a healthy and accident‑free workplace aligned with both local and global standards.\n\nU.S. Citizenship is required due to customer requirement.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSafety and Regulatory Compliance:\n\nIdentify hazards and recommend corrective or preventative measures to ensure a safe work environment.\n\nLead initiatives to reduce recordable injuries and improve safety performance by monitoring safe systems of work and current safe operating procedures.\n\nParticipate in pre‑start‑up safety reviews and equipment walk‑downs to identify safety concerns and conduct health and safety audits.\n\nConduct process HAZOPs and risk assessments and ensure that existing risk assessments are regularly updated.\n\nReview and assess plant modifications, providing technical safety input for the design and construction of new facilities, including automation lines and process equipment.\n\nFacilitate change management processes in relation to EHS across facilities.\n\nPerform gap analyses and internal audits based on global EHS policy and international standards (ISO14001, OSHAS18001, EICC EHS Code Conformance).\n\nSupport sites and corporate functions during international standard certification audits, including audits by Jabil registrar or customer standards.\n\nUse enterprise systems to initiate, track, close, and measure the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions from internal and external audits.\n\nTraining & Development:\n\nCreate and validate training curricula in areas of responsibility, ensuring they align with safety policies.\n\nAssess training needs in conjunction with the Training Coordinator, select suitable providers, and deliver training to personnel and contractors as needed.\n\nEnsure the timely delivery of mandatory regulatory health and safety training within legal timeframes.\n\nEnsure a sufficient number of staff are trained and hold positions such as first aiders and fire wardens.\n\nEmergency Response & Safety Systems:\n\nDevelop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure that fire protection systems are effective.\n\nCoordinate emergency evacuations and drills.\n\nPromote safety awareness and behaviors through staff communication sessions and employee engagement forums.\n\nPolicy Development & Implementation:\n\nDevelop and update the site safety statement and policy in partnership with plant management and global EHS.\n\nEnsure all employees are periodically communicated on the safety statement and policies.\n\nProvide direction and advice to site management on implementing Health & Safety legislation and best practices to meet company objectives under the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the General Application Regulations 2007.\n\nLeadership & Mentorship:\n\nLead and coach the EHS team, including facilities staff, to ensure they deliver excellence to both internal and external customers.\n\nDrive continuous improvement efforts through trend reporting, analysis, and cost‑conscious management.\n\nActively promote and increase awareness of safe work practices, both for the company staff and contractors.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation\n\nA Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related discipline is required.\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant Health/Safety experience within manufacturing or a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.\n\nRecent OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n\nEssential Skills:\n\nExcellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.\n\nAbility to interpret and apply relevant safety legislation and regulatory compliance procedures.\n\nAbility to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or other stakeholders.\n\nSelf‑starter with demonstrated problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and third parties.\n\nProficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nExperience monitoring hazardous substances/waste and stormwater permit compliance.\n\nStrong analytical skills, with experience in risk assessment, process hazards analysis, and industrial hygiene.\n\nProven ability to coach,
