Leveraging your experience and adhering to our proven methodology (the PS way) ensures success for our clients, our company, and yourself, regardless of the challenges or outcomes that matter most to our clients.\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:\r\nPlanning & Scheduling Projects\r\nDeveloping Scope of Work & Monitoring Creep\r\nIdentifying and Tracking Change to Projects\r\nCommunicating with all levels of Project Stakeholders\r\nAssisting the Power BI Reporting effort\r\nWorking with other Utility Operations groups Up and Downstream of the construction team\r\nTraining others to support the tools being used by the project.\r\nIdentifying and documenting key project processes\r\nWorking with leadership to plan future year(s) works.\r\nAssisting in the overall development of budget estimates\r\nReviewing proposals\r\nInterfacing / Managing with material vendors and service subcontractors.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nAssociate degree: An associate's in a relevant field such as business administration, project or construction management, STEM or a related discipline\r\nOR\r\n2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager in either electric power utilities, renewable generation and battery storage, or midstream oil & gas assets.\r\nPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Field\r\nPMI's Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent\r\nExperience working on construction, electric utility projects, or midstream oil & gas projects. Support roles would also be considered.\r\nExperience planning the execution portion of Transmission and Substation Projects and/or Pumping/Compressor Stations and Transmission/Gathering Pipelines.\r\nAbility to interpret One-Line Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams.\r\nExperience working on cross-discipline teams.\r\nExperience with project planning, budget development and cost control, cost forecasting, and contract administration.\r\nExperience working with multiple contractors to coordinate work and train them on reporting requirements.\r\nProficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and scheduling software. (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is a plus)\r\nStrong organizational and scheduling skills.\r\nAbility to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously.\r\nStrong work ethic, a high degree of professionalism with the ability to work with little supervision, handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, produce quality work and meet strict deadlines.\r\nA valid Texas driver's license and a good driving record.\r\nWORKING CONDITIONS\r\nAbility to travel 40% of the week.\r\nHybrid working environment: 3 days in client's office and 2 days from home.\r\nAbility to lift 40 pounds.\r\nExtended periods of sitting and working on computer screens\r\nMust be able to travel for extended periods in a vehicle, airplane or other transportation means.\r\nDISCLAIMER:\r\nThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and general nature of the work performed.
