{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"331e3c9ff8089a2215e62e8a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/331e3c9ff8089a2215e62e8a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/331e3c9ff8089a2215e62e8a","title":"AWS Applications Engineer","description":"AWS EngineerApex Systems has an immediate need for an AWS Engineer to support AWS implementations for a Government Services client.Location: RemoteLength: Long-term contract, opportunity to convert full timeThe following technologies are required for this role:Glue, Lambda, FarGate, SNS, SQS, S3, etc. and be proficient scripting with python.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable, highly available AWS PaaS solutions.Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain AWS Glue, Fargate, Analytics, and Lambda services.Design and implement data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, ensuring efficiency and reliability.Manage and optimize AWS Fargate instances and containers, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.Create and maintain AWS Analytics services, including Kinesis, Athena, Redshift, and QuickSight.Write efficient and well-structured code for AWS Lambdas using Python, ensuring functionality and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS PaaS services, taking proactive measures to ensure system performance and reliability.Collaborate with software engineering teams to develop applications using object-oriented programming languages, adhering to best practices and code standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements and optimizations to existing architectures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience working as an AWS PaaS Developer or in a similar role.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, Fargate, Analytics, and Lambdas.Proficiency in Python programming language, with a focus on Lambda development.Familiarity with SASS and experience in developing applications using an object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C++.Experience in designing and implementing high availability systems using AWS services.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer -
