Must have DoD Secret security clearanceOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to guide agile teams in delivering high-quality projects and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and a proven ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to ensure deliverables consistently align with client expectations. A solid understanding of engineering team workflows and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential. The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to promote transparency, alignment, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to support effective team collaboration.Manage project timelines, resources, and scope.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.Utilize tools like Jira and SharePoint for project tracking and documentation.Negotiate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts.Maintain comprehensive project documentation using Word and other relevant tools.Ensure the team maintains a clear Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).Continuously assess team performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity.Perform software development tasks as needed to support sprint commitments and maintain team velocity.Requirements· Bachelor’s degree· Must be able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.Deep familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.Foundational knowledge of core technical concepts, such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Significant hands-on software development experience.Familiarity with databases and their integration into project workflows (a plus).Proficiency with project tracking and management tools.Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.Experience conducting UAT for software projects.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI‑ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent would be a plus.· NAVAIR experience, specifically Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and/or aircraft Support Equipment (SE), would be a plus.
