Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:\r\nThe Candidateshall have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans) in furthering system mission capabilities.\r\nThe Candidate shall establish and implement Directorate and Division processes to ensure efficient review, coordination, and approval for all directorate/division tasks, briefings, acquisition documentation, acquisition reporting, and organizational management\r\nThe Candidate will be responsible for creating/providing analysis of acquisition documents, reports (MARs, PEO Activity, DAES, etc.) to ensure they are correct and consistent across programs with specific program data directed by leadership\r\nThe Candidateshall assist the program manager in assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.\r\nThe Candidatemust be able toplan, research, analyzeand assesssystem acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment anddevelopplans and recommendinnovative and effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\r\nThe Candidate plans, schedules and facilitates a variety of exchanges and meetings with the program office team, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies which may address warfighter capability gaps.\r\nThe Candidateshall formulate, recommend, and draft the proper acquisition strategy and associated statutory and regulatory acquisition documentations in a timely and effective manner.\r\nThe Candidate will support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and support the Government in development and review of draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and RFP documents.\r\nThe Candidate shall support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews; support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.\r\nThe Candidate shall analyze program operations and provide/execute approved process improvement initiatives.\r\nJob Requirements\r\nSECRET Clearance required.\r\nPossessthe ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their assigned tasks.\r\nPossess strong communication skills and utilize those skills to build relationships with supported customers.\r\nExperience with SharePoint to include managing, uploading and editingprogram data and files. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.\r\nMaster's with 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 must be in the DoD, or BA/BS with 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, of which 8 must be in the DoD\r\nWe hire Military!\r\nSalary information below is a general guide only.
