practices.\nSystems and Infrastructure Administration\nBuild, configure, secure, administer, and maintain physical and virtual servers.\nSupport cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and air-gapped computing environments.\nManage system configurations, operating systems, user access, permissions, patching, backups, and system availability.\nImplement and maintain encryption for data at rest and in transit.\nMonitor the health, performance, reliability, and security of networks, servers, applications, and supporting infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot complex system, network, application, integration, and deployment issues.\nDevelop infrastructure-as-code solutions to create consistent, repeatable, and secure environments.\nSupport system hardening, configuration management, change management, and lifecycle maintenance.\nAssist with the integration and administration of Cross Domain Solutions and other controlled data-transfer technologies, as applicable.\nDataflow and Systems Integration\nDesign, implement, and support dataflow architectures that move information securely from front-end systems to back-end services and downstream processing environments.\nAnalyze interfaces, data dependencies, processing requirements, and security boundaries across interconnected systems.\nSupport secure data exchanges among applications, networks, cloud environments, and external systems.\nWork with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate system components and resolve technical dependencies.\nEnsure data-handling solutions comply with applicable security, encryption, access-control, and operational requirements.\nCompliance and Authorization Support\nSupport Authorization to Operate activities, including the preparation and maintenance of required security documentation.\nAssist with security control implementation, assessment, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and audit preparation.\nDevelop and maintain system policies, procedures, diagrams, configuration records, and other technical documentation.\nWork with cybersecurity, engineering, customer, and program stakeholders to address compliance requirements and authorization findings.\nEnsure system configurations and operational practices remain consistent with applicable security frameworks and organizational policies.\nCollaboration and Operational Support\nCollaborate closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, customers, and support operations teams.\nProvide technical guidance during system design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and operational implementation.\nPromote shared responsibility for security across development, engineering, and operations teams.\nCommunicate technical risks, system requirements, vulnerabilities, and recommended solutions clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nSupport production deployments, system upgrades, incident response, troubleshooting, and operational transition activities.\nEvaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to security, automation, scalability, reliability, and system performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nAt least five years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, systems administration, cloud engineering, cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, secure software development practices, and the software development lifecycle.\nExperience designing, implementing, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nHands-on experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, and version-control technologies.\nExperience with tools such as:\nAnsible\nJenkins\nTerraform\nGit and GitHub\nGitHub Actions\nArtifactory\nJira\nBlack Duck\nComparable DevSecOps, security, and automation platforms\nExperience building, configuring, securing, and maintaining servers and supporting infrastructure.\nExperience working in cloud-based, on-premises, hybrid, or air-gapped environments.\nKnowledge of vulnerability management, secure configuration, access control, encryption, system hardening, and security monitoring.\nFamiliarity with information security frameworks, security controls, and compliance standards.\nExperience developing technical documentation, operating procedures, security policies, or authorization materials.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple technical disciplines and stakeholder groups.\nPreferred Qualifications\nEight or more years of experience in DevSecOps, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or related roles.\nExperience supporting highly regulated, government, defense, or other security-sensitive environments.\nExperience with Authorization to Operate processes and security-control
