Jr. Software License ManagerPosition SummaryThe Jr. Software License Manager supports the tracking, compliance, and optimization of software licenses and technology assets across the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity organization. This role helps maintain accurate software inventories, assists with audits, monitors license usage, and works with IT, procurement, and finance teams to support cost-effective and compliant software management.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain records of software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlementsTrack software installations and usage across systemsAssist with internal and external software compliance auditsHelp reconcile software purchases, contracts, and deployment dataSupport renewal tracking and license true-up activitiesGenerate reports on software usage, compliance position, and optimization opportunitiesWork with IT, sourcing, and vendors to resolve licensing discrepanciesHelp document SAM processes, standards, and inventory proceduresSupport continuous improvement of asset tracking and governance practicesBasic QualificationsProficient with infrastructure and cybersecurity software categories and an understanding of how these tools are deployed, licensed, and managed in an enterprise environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic understanding of software licensing metrics, IT assets, or procurement processesProficiency with Excel and reporting toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze data and follow defined processesPreferred Qualifications5-year experience of IT asset management, procurement, or software operationsFamiliarity with SAM/ITAM tools such as ServiceNow, or similar platformsExperience using AI tools to improve productivity and analysisUnderstanding of contracts, renewals, and vendor managementExperience with data cleanup, reconciliation, or audit support
