Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments while applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nIn addition to electrical and electronic duties it is expected that this position will include proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical principals to help design and troubleshoot the systems both at the factory and in the field.\nDevelop electrical systems and devices and test them for safety and efficiency.\nManage the manufacturing/design process for new electrical equipment using design software to produce schematics.\nSupport the installation process of your designs.\nInspect electrical components during and after the product installation.\nTesting electronics for problems and proposing solutions.\nUnderstand and implement design from technical specifications, along with input from distributors, customers, Sales or Service.\nInteract with distributors and customers using verbal and written communication.\nCreate accurate product documentation and records.\nDevelop software for machine control systems and displays.\nEvaluate electrical system, products, components and applications.\nQualifications:\nAdvanced mathematical skills for calculation of design equations\nExcellent communication skills to explain technical specifics to peers and customers.\nWriting skills for preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals, and design documentation\nSelf-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies.\nAbility to use industry-specific tools to analyze and test electronics.\nUnderstanding of mechatronics and teletronics\nDiagnosing CAN bus equipment.\nWorking knowledge of CodeSys, J1939 and CAD Software\nAbility to analyze information and/or use logic to solve problems.\nUnderstanding of robotics and automation\n5 to 7 years of experience in Electrical/electronic troubleshooting\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
