This position is well suited for candidates with backgrounds in construction, electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, or other skilled trades who are interested in applying their hands-on experience within the data center industry. Responsibilities focus on physical installation work, including cable routing, fiber and copper termination, rack assembly, equipment installation, and infrastructure build-outs rather than traditional IT support or computer troubleshooting. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow blueprints and installation documentation, and the ability to perform physically demanding work during extended shifts.\n\n*Job Responsibilities*\n\n* Install cable infrastructure and perform fiber rough-in within data center environments.\n* Route, dress, secure, and label fiber and copper cabling according to installation standards.\n* Terminate fiber and copper cables according to project specifications.\n* Rack and stack equipment within server cabinets and racks.\n* Assist with server rack build-outs and maintain accurate rack elevation documentation.\n* Install fiber trays, ladder racks, cabinets, power trays, and related infrastructure.\n* Assemble hardware and infrastructure components using appropriate hand tools.\n* Receive materials, verify inventory, and prepare equipment and hardware for installation.\n* Perform Outside Plant (OSP) installation work, including routing fiber into data center facilities.\n* Read and follow blueprints, installation drawings, rack elevations, and technical documentation.\n* Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and management.\n* Follow all jobsite safety requirements, including proper use of PPE, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to OSHA standards.\n\n*Job Requirements*\n\n* 0-2 years of experience in data center installation, construction, skilled trades, mechanical work, telecommunications installation, low-voltage cabling, or a related hands-on environment;
